Surfaces and foils
The PVC foil is used, where the material, in addition to sound-damping properties, also need to have a visual purpose, eg. as internal lining in driver's cabins. The perforation ensures the passage of the airborne noise into the foam.
The PU foil is used where the surface must be completely closed, eg in engine compartments and compressors, where frequent cleaning may be necessary. The foil is extremely strong and elastic, although it is a very thin foil.
Alu foils are used primarily in situations where it is desired that the foil also need to have a reflective effect against heat or cold.
Textiles are used in cases where a more exclusive appearance is desired or where cleaning do not present a major issue.
